The duldrums of summer

Fri Sep 18, 2009, 11:25 AM
I REALLY need to get out and take some more photographs! I have been really busy at work this summer, things have kept me hopping and not left me a lot of time to take photographs for fun.
But, I DO have a few projects on the horizon. I have a trip in mind to photograph a place I have wanted to for years. A friend and I are going to go check out the park next month some time and do a photo expedition. So that is a good thing. I also have a few trips coming up at the end of the year and the beginning of next year.
I really want to get back to Bonaire and do some more underwater photography.
Next year I have plans to go to Hawaii and scuba dive. That should be really cool. I plan on taking a lot of photographs there. I also have some time set aside to play on land afterwards so I should be able to get a few more pix at that.

Thanks for the favs. Your new pics are awesome! All my pictures are through glass, it must be amazing (and difficult) to photograph wild animals.

It's not easy in the wild. You have to move slowly and not 'threaten' the critters. After a while they kinda get used to you being around and ignore you. It's a real Zen experience.

My fish are so tame, my seahorses actually hitch on my fingers. They make it way to easy to get a photo. I'd love to go diving someday. But I live in Wisconsin and can't swim, so it might be a problem.
